3 Killed by Car Bomb Blast in Turkey Near Syrian Border

3 People were killed by a car bomb in Reyhanli near the border with Syria. Reyhanli is close the Syria’s Idlib Province and is an important crossing between the 2 countries. 16 people were arrested in connection with the explosion, thought to be targeting a nearby mosque. The 3 killed were occupants of the vehicle.

16 killed and Over 100 Wounded by Explosion, Gunfight in Kabul Targeting Defense Ministry Engineers

At least 16 people were killed and more than 100 injured by a Taliban attack in Kabul. 50 of the injured were children from 5 nearby schools. A large bomb was detonated outside a defense ministry building, followed by several fighters entering a high rise next door to the logistics and engineering department. A gun battle broke out, lasting nearly 8 hours, with the attackers shooting down into the compound and on the streets. Over 200 people were rescued from nearby buildings by special forces and police.

The Taliban claimed to be purposefully attacking the logistics and engineering department of the ministry of defense.
