5.1 Earthquake and 100 Aftershock Rattles Southern California

La Habra, in northwest Orange County in Southern California was at the epicenter of a 5.1 earthquake at 9:09 pm.  It was preceded by a smaller 3.6 earthquake at 8:00 pm.  The quake caused minor injuries for a few people and a rock slide in Carbon Canyon.  In addition, Southern California Edison reported outages affecting almost 2,000 customers.  No fatalities or major structural damage has been reported.
